The Cutler Road house sits on the edge of a ridge, with layered views across Middle Harbour towards Balmoral Beach and the city. Mature angophora trees are a feature of the site and local area which add to its unique character.
Level street access allows entry through an expansive north facing garden and pool area. The living spaces are designed to connect to both aspects of the site, opening up on the south to the water views and the north to an outdoor covered deck. Flexibility of sliding door openings allows protection from the winter southerly winds and ability to admit summer north east breeze. The westerly aspect is protected by timber screens and adjustable blinds.
Sleeping zones on the lower level are quiet sanctuaries removed from street noise and bright light of the upper levels whilst still maintaining views of the water and garden.
