About.
Megan McGlinchey has been living and practising architecture on the northern beaches of Sydney since 2004.
The practice specialises in bespoke home design, working with each client to discover their individual project requirements and creating a sanctuary for living that responds to their needs.
The unique character and location of each project site provides inspiration for her work.
Homes are designed to incorporate principles of passive design, taking advantage of seasonal conditions and creating comfortable living spaces. Spaces are planned for flexibility of use with options for opening and closing, creating connections with the outside environment, increasing wellbeing of those who live there.
Consideration is given to the carbon footprint of building materials and systems, encompassing the manufacture and re-use aspects of the elements that are designed into the building.
